In this message, we consider the rise of the man of sin, who deceives those who join the rebellion against God. He seems to die and rise again, counterfeiting the miracle of Jesus Christ. A second wicked individual counterfeits the power of the Holy Spirit. They make a seven-year contract to allow temple worship to continue, but after a stunning defeat they break the contract and cut off temple worship, setting up the abomination of desolation in the temple. Those faithful to God must flee to the mountains from Judea, and the rest of God’s people suffer great tribulation. Babylon is destroyed as a center of worship to promote worship of the antichrist alone.
