This Bible study uses the “dark” reality of the public safety power shut-offs as insightful illustration, helping us visualize what believers must do whenever we are “under fire” and dealing with the “dark” places and spaces in our lives. The spotlight scripture for this lesson is the third chapter of Matthew – when John baptized Jesus in the jungle of Judea. What kind of dark places and spaces are you dealing with? Let’s turn to the Word and turn on the guiding light of God’s power. He is a light in a dark place!
