Praying For Things Out Of Your Control_Day 1

If your family is going through things that you feel helpless in, this week is for you!

 

Day 1: Praying for things we don’t know or can’t control that our kids are dealing with!  

John 16:22

 

Day 2: Our kids will avoid so much trouble that we don't even completely understand, because of our faithfulness to pray.

 

Day 3: There is power in our words. What are you speaking over your kids?

Proverbs 18:21

 

Day 4: You learn more about a person in an hour of play than in a lifetime of conversation. 

Philippians 4:8 TPT

 

ACTION STEPS:

 

When you get news that something is going on with your kids; listen, stop and breathe, find time to be alone and talk to God about it. 

 

Find a scripture or song that reminds you of God's promises.

 

Begin to speak or sing those over the situation.

 

Start small, find 5 minutes a day doing one of those things listed above.

Jesus, 

 

Your word says that you have a plan and a purpose for my child, that you knew (him/her) before (he/she) was born, and father, I know you have placed (him/her) with me as their parent because you love me and trust me with (him/her). Help me be the best parent that I can be for (him/her). Give me your wisdom and knowledge so that I can help (him/her) draw closer to you, and that I can help (him/her) explore and discover (his/her) purpose and passions in (his/her) life, the one that you have called (him/her) to. Surround (him/her) with people that will be good influences and remove those who will drag (him/her) down. Give (him/her) encouragement, a soundness of mind, and blessings along (his/her) journey, and let (him/her) always look to you for help along the way.
