I Pray My Kids Don’t Follow Trends_Day 1

This week we are praying that our kids will not conform to the world, but become transformed by God into a new person. Our prayers are more powerful than any trend going around. Let's pray the Holy Spirit inwardly transforms how our kids think. Take note of areas your kids are falling into the trends of the world, but don't say anything to them, instead pray this week's prayer. You can screenshot the prayer or print it out. Then watch God begin to transform your child's way of thinking.

This Weeks Prayer:

Father, Your word says wherever your treasure is, that the desires of your heart will follow. I know my kid's eyes are like a lamp providing light for their body. I pray they do not copy the behaviors and customs of the world, instead let their fruit produce joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of the heart, and strength of the spirit. Holy Spirit, transform them into a new person by changing the way they think. So that they will learn your will for them, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

I pray this in Jesus' name, amen.

Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!

Roman 12:2 TPT

Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you,[a] but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.
