This week we are praying that our kids will become aware of the gifts and talents God has given them and how they can use them to serve others and bring glory to God. Take note of areas your kids are excelling in. Things that come naturally and brag on them for it. Say it directly to them and let them hear you saying it to others.
Example: Riley has such a big heart, she always makes sure her friends and family feel loved and appreciated. I wrote the prayer this week so that you can fill in your child's name and make it more personal. Write it out or screenshot it so you have it with you to pray often.
This Weeks Prayer:
Father,
You formed ________ innermost being, shaping his/her delicate inside and intricate outside, and wove them all together in the womb. I thank you, God, for making ___________ so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know ___________, Lord! You even formed every bone in his/her body when you created him/her in the secret place, carefully, skillfully shaping ______________from nothing to something. You saw whom you created him/her to be before he/she even became _________! Before___________ ever saw the light of day, the number of days you planned for him/her were already recorded in your book. Every single moment you are thinking of ___________! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish _____________constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward him/her are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When they awake each morning, you’re still with ________.
I pray this in Jesus' name, amen.
