Helping Your Kids Achieve Their God-Given Dreams_Day 2

This week we will take it to God and pray for our kids to follow their God-given dreams. 

 

Day 1: God’s plan vs my plan

Jeremiah 29:11

 

Day 2:  We get impatient, but God knows best!

1 Samuel 13-14

 

Day 3: It's about the heart!

1 Samuel 13-14

 

Day 4: God sees all our kid's gifts and is using them to bless our kids and the Kingdom of God!

1 Samuel 16-17

 

ACTION STEPS:

Ask God to help you see the good gifts, talents and personalities he has blessed your children with.

 

Find ways to create opportunities for your kids to discover, explore and use those talents on a regular basis.

 

Become your child's biggest cheerleader even if they are interested in things that don't interest you or that you don't understand.

 

Remember that God can and will use each of our kids in ways that we sometimes do not understand to get them on the path he has prepared for them.

Dear Jesus, 

Thank you for choosing me and trusting me with each of my children. I know you have a plan and a purpose for each of their lives. You will guide them along the way and are using every gift and talent you have placed inside of them to place them at the right places at the right time. Show me how to love and support each of them in a way that encourages them to follow the dreams you have placed in their heart. 

In Jesus' Name, Amen!
