This week we will focus on our children's relationship with Jesus. Our kids are using social media to connect with others in ways they feel they can't in person. They are searching for validation, expression, and acceptance.

You and I both know that another person can't truly give them what they are searching for, only Jesus can.

But that is not something we can do for our kids. Although we can try to teach them. We can do our part, but the moment they encounter Jesus as their savior is between them and God.

Our job is to expose them to the truth, and let God meet them in His perfect timing. I believe with all my heart it is always His desire to have a relationship with them, and He is using all of their choices, good and bad, to bring them to that point.

So we will continue to come together and cover them with prayer and intercede for them, praying they become one with Christ.

This Weeks Prayer:

Father,

I know you have great plans for my kids. I know it is your desire to have a deep relationship with each one of them. Help me as their parent to find ways to connect them to Jesus in a way that makes sense to them. Show me how to use our family time, to expose them to the truth and light at every stage and season of their life. Father, I trust that you are using every choice they make, good and bad, to draw them closer to you. I know you are near them, pursuing them every moment of every day. I can't wait for the day they realize that you are what they have been missing and searching for all along.

I pray this in Jesus' name, amen.

Scriptures to Pray This Week:

John 17:21 NIV:

"that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."

Proverbs 22:6 TPT:

"Dedicate your children to God and point them in the way that they should go, and the values they’ve learned from you will be with them for life.

Luke 15:8-10 The Message :

“Or imagine a woman who has ten coins and loses one. Won’t she light a lamp and scour the house, looking in every nook and cranny until she finds it? And when she finds it you can be sure she’ll call her friends and neighbors: ‘Celebrate with me! I found my lost coin!’ Count on it—that’s the kind of party God’s angels throw every time one lost soul turns to God.”

Romans 10:14-15 NLT:

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”
