Some of the practical wisdom Pooja shares:

On manifesting our goals: What you believe is what you become. Having a clear vision, taking actions to achieve that vision, and thinking about it all the time. Limitations exist in your mindset. Don’t downplay yourself. Look outside the box and you would find opportunities.

How to stay positive in difficult times like loved ones dying of covid...it’s ok not to be ok...one thing I tell myself all the time is things are going to take time but things are going to get better. Ask yourself: What are my core values? Moments of gratitude can bring happiness. Happiness leads to success, not the other way around.

How to cultivate confidence? We need to ask people questions. We are in this together. Active listening is what makes a great leader. You don’t need to be an expert in a domain to share your knowledge and wisdom with others. Start with your strength. Empathy is feeling what others are others are going through. Compassion is also what can you do to help solve their problems.

Parenting lesson same as leadership: Let each kid and each team member be the better version of themself. She encourages us to take advice from others, like how her 12 year old taught her how to stop lecturing and to just give tidbits of information never more than 2 minutes. She now asks her kids to give the summary so she avoids nagging.

Her practical wisdom: Keep learning, keep growing, keep sharing.
