Happy New Year - new plans - new visions - new outcomes, prayerfully. 2022 was good. What’s this next year going to look like? Some feel like we’re getting close to the final days of the last days. And, like my dad would always say whenever anyone asked him about his views on the end times, he’d say, “Well, I know that we’re closer today than we ever have been!”
And that’s true. 2023 MAY be the year Jesus returns to rule and reign (as we saw last week in our final Advent Series sermon about Joy the World). Of course, no one knows the day or time - and so Jesus advises his followers to just be ready; to be doing the things we’ve been called to do to prepare for his return - and that is, to continue to share the gospel and to expand the kingdom of light into the darkness of this world.
