This year millions of people will open millions of gifts. Some won’t fit. Some will be the wrong color. Many will be returned or exchanged ‘cuz it wasn’t just right. Wouldn’t it be nice to find a gift that doesn’t need to be returned because it really is the perfect thing, the thing that is most needed?
‘Tis the season, really, of giving. And when it comes to the Biblical account of Jesus’ birth, you can’t help but associate giving gifts with a certain group of men… The Magi from the East who came to worship the Christ child.
But oddly enough, the Magi (also known as the Wise Men, and sometimes even Kings) actually are some of the most mysterious characters in the Biblical account..
