Have you ever stopped to think what Christmas would be like without light?

Lights are significant - integral part of the celebration of Jesus coming into the world. Turn with me to John 1:1-9

The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.

Today starts ADVENT season - a time of preparing our heart to celebrate the true light that dawned on this dark world. And as you can see, this year the decorating team decided it would be best to go with all white as a symbol of being refreshed, renewed, clean slate, etc.

When I heard that, I decided that the ADVENT series would be “White Christmas,” and we would take the next four Sundays to look at some Biblical ideas of the color white. This morning - it’s light!
