Today my guest is Artist in Residence Gareth McClearnon for Haynes who brings a history and perspective of a 132-year-old American flute company. After my own (only) 36 years of playing one brand of flute, I decided to begin anew, and perhaps learn something new from an old flute maker. This time, I chose the flute maker who embraced the traditions of my grand-teacher, George Barrère.
