why the first church changed the world
· They had a powerful, personal experience with the gospel of Jesus.
Not every believer in Acts saw the resurrected Jesus, but every believer had a personal experience with Christ through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
· They believed their primary task was to witness about the gospel and the scope was global evangelization.
The church thrives when it focuses on the mission.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Everyone must be a part of the mission.
common excuses:
“I don’t have what it takes.”
“It’s not my gift.”
“I witness with my life.”
“I don’t have time.”
“It makes me feel weird.”
There is still a need for cross-cultural missions.
