Alan drove up to Nashville to sit down with David Newbould, Canadian singer/songwriter. David begins with earliest memories of the music that influenced him, early teenage years in Toronto, and eventually moving to New York City to pursue his dream of making music. After spending some time in NYC, David moved to the West Coast and busked in San Francisco before moving back to Canada for a short time. Austin, TX impacted David's songwriting and appreciation of time moving a bit slower. He would eventually land in Nashville, TN and he really began to hone his songwriting. David and Al talk about his songwriting process, impacts of Covid-19, stories behind some of the songs of his latest album, 'Sin & Redemption'.
