Also, The lacing of the smokes reminded Barry of the spiking of the eggnog (and the vocalization and the harmonies!) in Who Spiked the Eggnog? by Straight No Chaser.

Barry’s second entry into the Abigail Hummel School of Speaking Smartly About Music was to compare Build God, Then We’ll Talk to My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music.
