Swedish Pop... Period!

In this episode of Pop Music For Smart People we travel across the pond to a pop music mecca known as Sweden. Ever since Abba rose to global super stardom Sweden has been a breeding ground for pop music production and artists. Over the years Sweden has produced many world renowned artists, producers and DJs including Robyn, Eagle Eye Cherry, Avicii, Miike Snow, Zara Larsson and Alesso just to name a few. This week I am featuring four Swedish artists that I can't get enough of recently! They are Miss Li, Tove Styrke and The House of Albatroz made up of the brother and sister duo, Little Sis Nora and Aronchupa. All of these artists are making their mark on pop music in very unique ways so lets listen to some music and find out why Swedish pop stands on it's own, including songs such as Complicated (Miss Li), Sway (Tove Styrke) and FUN (Little Sis Nora and Aronchupa).
