Drake & Josh is a teen sitcom created by Dan Schneider. It premiered on Nickelodeon on January 11, 2004. The series ran for 56 episodes and 2 TV movies, ending on December 5, 2008.
In the show, teenagers Drake Parker (Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (Josh Peck) become stepbrothers when their parents (Nancy Sullivan, Jonathan Goldstein) marry. The two try to get along despite their differing personalities. Other characters include Drake’s sister Megan (Miranda Cosgrove), Josh’s boss Helen (Yvette Nicole Brown), and Josh’s rival and later girlfriend Mindy (Allison Scagliotti).
Drake & Josh was a mainstay at the Kids’ Choice Awards and enjoyed consistently strong ratings among young viewers.
