Hello and welcome to Pop Break TV’s brand new sometimes podcast: Saturday Morning Adventures, where contributors to ThePopBreak.com and their friends kick back, tune in, and zone out to the kids cartoons that defined their childhoods and the ones that are still giving them life today.

For the next ten weeks, this podcast will be led by Pop Break Podcasting Director Alex Marcus and K Anderson, the host of the wonderful interview podcast Lost Spaces, as they give you instant reactions to every episode of X-Men ‘97, the Disney Plus revival of the beloved 1992 classic X-Men: The Animated Series.

This week, Alex & K reminisce about the original series, discuss how their X-men fandom was birthed, and give their reaction to the main X-Men ‘97 trailer, which came out earlier this month. They also discuss their concerns over some of the adaptive changes from the original series and which X-Men comic arcs they’d love to see the series tackle (and which they’d prefer it stay clear of).

Finally, they touch up the news which broke earlier this month regarding the firing of X-Men ‘97’s showrunner Beau DeMayo .
