Authorities on backing slow horses, enthusiasts of spinning yarns.

WE DID IT. Our first winner for the On The Drift stable, in a Saturday Metro grade race. Thesecondatportsea was given an expert ride from Damien Thorton and looked sensational in the yard. Shoutout to Jack Bruce who got the mare prepped up and looking sensational. Here's to a sensational preparation.

There was also some facinating racing across the country. Waterhouse and Bott & the Snowdens further established themselves as the best trainers of 2yos this season, with Bodyguard braining them at Caulfield, while Fully Lit was far too good in the Millenium. But how impressive was Mr Brightside?
