2.02 The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 9, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Central Administrative Offices at 511 Harrington Highway, Eden, NC.
2.03 The RCS Employee Retirement Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Rockingham County Middle School Cafeteria, 182 High School Road, Reidsville, NC.

5. Awards / Recognitions

5.01 Recognition of Representative Mr. Bert Jones for presenation of the North Carolina flag to Rockingham County Schools.
5.02 Recognition of Elliot Graves NCHSAA 2A Indoor Track Champion from Reidsville High School. Elliot placed first in three events: 55 Meter Dash, 55 Meter Hurdle, and the 300 Meter Dash.
5.03 Recognition of Ms. Kathryn Davis, the Rockingham County Schools' Physical Therapist, for receiving the 2016 Distinguished Service Award from the Exceptional Children's Division of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
5.04 Recognition of Rockingham County Middle School that was awarded 1st Place in the No Child Hungry Challenge for Middle Schools across North Carolina. RCMS increased the number of students eating breakfast by fifty-four percent (54%).
5.05 Recognition of Rockingham County Middle School that was awarded 2nd Place for the 2015-2016 North Carolina Breakfast Challenge held at the NC Child Hunger Leaders Conference. RCMS will receive $1,000 to support the school breakfast program.
5.06 Recognition of Justin Holt, a freshman at Rockingham County Early College, for being accepted into The Southern Division of the American Choral Directors Association Honors Choir. Justin performed with the best singers in the Southeast at the 2016 ACDA Convention March 9-12 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
