1:30 - Former President Trump’s FBI Raid Heats Up


The FBI takes 11 sets of classified material from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago and also digs through toilets because they believe Trump hid stuff in them. If any of these documents include nuclear-related materials such as nuclear codes or nuclear plans, Trump could face jailtime and will not be able to run for re-election. Trump claims FBI Agents took three of his passports during the Mar-A-Lago calls raid, calls search an assault on a political opponent.


16:50 - Salman Rushdie was attacked with a knife during a NY event by a radical Islamic extreemist. Iran denies involvement, but several iranian leaders justify Salman Rushdie's attack. Rushdie was stabbed 10 times before being rushed to a hospital. He is going to lose an eye but is off of the ventilator and it appears that he will live. 


29:00 - Primary Updates on Wisconsin, Vermont, Connecticut, and Minnesota


Wisconsin: With Trump's backing, Michels wins the Wisconsin GOP Primary for Governor in a field of 5, and will face the incumbent Democratic governor Tony Evers. While in the Senate election primary, Republican incumbent Ron Johnson will face Democrat Mandela Barnes in November.  Lastly, in their Attorney General Race, incumbent Democrat Josh Kaul faced Republican Challenger Eric Toney in November.


Connecticut: Incumbent Democrat Governor Ned Lamont will face Trump-endorsed Republican Bob Stefanowski in November.


Minnesota: Incumbent Democrat Governor Tim Walz will face Republican Scott Jensen in November. Incumbent Democrat Attorney General Kieth Ellison will face Republican opponent Jim Schultz


Vermont: Lastly, Incumbent Republican Governor Phil Scott will face Democrat Brenda Siegel in November. While in the Senate, Democrat Peter Welch and Republican Gerald Malloy will face each other for the vacant seat.


30:30 - Liz Cheney braces for primary loss as focus shifts to 2024, set to lose against Trump-backed challenger Harriet Hageman. Cheney has been one of the most vocal opponents of President Trump within the party, ever since she was first elected, and led the charge to impeach Trump and currently leads the January 6th Committee.


42:15 - Nancy Pelosi returns to the US to get the Democratic economic package passed quickly through the House. The House Democrats wish to accomplish their climate, tax, and healthcare goals with the passage of this Inflation Reduction Act.  With that said, many in the US doubt their own impact on climate, according to an AP-Norc Poll. Do you think climate policy and the impact we have on the climate should be a higher priority for Americans?
