In Halifax, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announces an investment of up to $255 million for clean energy projects in the province. He is joined by Sean Fraser (federal minister of immigration and MP for Central Nova, Nova Scotia), Kody Blois (MP for Kings-Hants, Nova Scotia) and Chief Sidney Peters (Glooscap First Nation). The prime minister responds to questions from reporters about Canada's potential to help wean Europe off of its reliance on Russian energy and his government’s decision to wind down the special Afghan immigration program to new applicants. He is also asked about the ongoing controversy surrounding Hockey Canada and the alleged 2018 sexual assault involving members of the national junior team.
