Today, on this Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord, the Christ child reveals Himself not only to the Magi but also to the whole world. God used what is familiar (star) to call the 3 Wise men to Himself.
Brothers and sisters, let us reflect, today, upon these Magi and see them as a symbol of what we are called to do. We are called from the foreign place of this world to seek out the Messiah. What is God using to call you & I to Himself? When we discover Him, let us not hesitate to acknowledge the full truth of who He really is, lying prostrate before Him in complete and humble submission.
