What masks are you wearing to hide some of your imperfections or cries? That's what Dunbar address in this poem. It was written before the Civil Rights Movement so we can imagine how thick the clouds of racism must have been.
I hope you have the courage today to strip off masks which only make worse the little foxes that spoil the vine. If there's any mask you should be wearing, let it be the one required to keep others safe. #Covid19
