Today we had Fred Taylor, who was inducted into the Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame in 2008 and the UF Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010. The Gator Great is a three time SEC Champion, a National Champion, a First-team All SEC, a Second-team All-Pro and a semi-finalist for the NFL Hall of Fame in 2019. He is among the top three running backs in the history of UF, along with Emmitt Smith and Errict Rhett. Drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1998, Taylor enjoyed a 13 year career in the NFL, playing for both the Jaguars and the New England Patriots. He is currently 17th on the all time rushing list, gaining over 11,000 yards during his career. He is part of the Jaguars game day broadcasting team. His son, Kelvin, played for the Gators from 2013-2015. He lives in south Florida with his wife. Frank is sports personality, podcaster, a sports announcer who works as an afternoon drive talk show host on 1010 XL/92.5 FM radio stations in Jacksonville. He also is the radio play-by-play voice of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL football team as well as one of the founders and the president and CEO of GridironNow.com, a website specializing in the coverage of SEC Football!
