Previous Episode: EP.8 - How Do We Podcast It
Next Episode: EP. 10 - PodUp to PodUp

This week, David Patton returns to discuss digital marketing and podcasts.  That leads to some interesting tangents on podcast notifications and some of the alternative social networks for promoting your podcasts.  And speaking of tangents, we go on a few others, in particular, one on the new Pebble Time smartwatch.

I bring that up because this week's intro includes some observations on smartwatch's and podcasts.  So far, I've only looked at the Pebble Watch and explored some Apple Watch apps.  I'll have to go check out some of the Android-based ones and see if they are doing a good job integrating digital audio for podcasters.  Either way, smartwatches can be a podcaster's or a podcast fan's friend.

And don't forget to check out some new podcasts I am promoting including last week's 'How Do We Fix It' podcast with Richard Davies and Jim Meigs.  And, of course, "The Hilarie Barsky Show!"  That's a daily podcast with Hilarie Barsky, comedian Cathy Caldwell and me.  It's a ton of fun.  Maybe you're not the demographic for it, but it's the perfect podcast to get your folks interested in the medium.

Also, as a reminder, if you recently launched a new podcast or are considering one, or just want to be more involved in the podcasting industry, shoot me a note and let's talk about your aspirations right here on PodUp.  Would love to hear from you! You can reach out by following me on twitter @PodUpPodcast or contacting me through my consulting website MPassyProductions.com.
