FLYNNINHO, a Chicago-based DJ and music producer who got his start in music after a career playing professional soccer in Sweden and Brazil. He discusses his journey getting into DJing and production, including playing his first gig at Evil Olive in Chicago.

He talks about his musical style and love for melodic buildups and hard drops in bass house music. His goal is to make emotional festival music that makes people feel accepted. He also enjoys remixing rock songs into bass house tracks, like his recent Blink-182 remix.

When producing, he imagines how the song will sound and feel in a live setting. He uses Logic Pro and focuses on quality songwriting over trends. Looking ahead, he wants to continue growing beyond a local DJ into a touring artist, while staying true to his sound and brand.
