I had the chance to connect with Araminta Robertson, a freelance FinTech writer who recently moved to sunny Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this year!

She co-hosts the Financial Independence Europe Podcast, focusing on achieving FIRE in life. That's an acronym by the way, it stands for 'Financial Independence, Retire Early.' While she's hosting the show, she also has her blog, Financially Mint, writing over 100 articles on personal finance. She has the experience and the portfolio when it comes to content creation.

In the conversation, we talked about:

Her experiences as a podcast host, making revenue through their show's conference, and exploring other potential monetisation models.

The opportunities that popped up in her career due to content creation, and the role of skill acquisition.

Future-proofing and the need for discussing sensitive issues via podcasts.

WARNING: This was a guerilla recording, which meant I didn't have the best recording environment for this conversation. The audio quality is not up to the usual standard. We were recording this while eating dinner at a cafe, outside, when there were tons of customers and there was a storm. Not the best, forgive me, but just letting you know the sound quality may jump here and there, so if you're wearing headphones, or if you normally have your car set to a high volume: please be careful. Do NOT have this on full blast, keep it a bit lower than usual.
