This week we're talking about labor law, an institution in many ways built for the bosses. But there is a lot of movement recently in this field. The recent AB5 victory in California--addressing the misclassification of employees as "independent contractors"--could potentially be just the beginning as Bernie Sanders and more recently (as in post-recording this episode...) Elizabeth Warren promulgate sweeping labor law reforms aimed helping working people and strengthening America's unions.

What are the radical horizons of labor law? What are the limitations? To discuss these issues we're joined by two great guests, Jeremy Gong, and C.M. Lewis.

Jeremy Gong is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America in California’s East Bay and a leader on DSA’s campaign for Bernie Sanders.

C.M. Lewis is a staff union representative for the Pennsylvania State Education Association and a member of the Strikewave editorial team.
