We aim to look at comedy from both the technical and anecdotal aspect: What have we learned about comedy through the pursuit of levity? We comment on those we believe who are doing it right, those who are doing it wrong, and those who are immensely popular in hopes of expanding the worldview of others that do not stand up and tell jokes. We want to encourage those who don't do that to try to be funny, whether for strangers or their circles, because humor can bring so much intelligence and sincerity to the world. We want to document the local college comedy scene, from stand-up to sketch to satire to sitcom to improv. Most importantly, we want to show how much we learn about ourselves through what we laugh at.
