Clint, a high school head football coach, uses motivational skills to encourage the youth in our sport. He and Steve discuss the temperature of coon hunting in Alabama which Chase has determined to be very good. A Black and Tan man from the start, Steve digs deep into the breed with Chase who has extensive knowledge of the top dogs and their successes in major competitions. Seizing the opportunity, Steve drills down to the core of Chase’s love for the breed, comparing the dogs of yesterday to today’s winning hounds and how the breed has changed over time. This is a good one for the novice as the two hunters discuss the importance of relationships and remembering the traditions of the sport while embracing the new, an all ‘round good listen.
