The Maple Syrup Heist; QUEBEC

We have a sticky one for you this week! In 2011, a group of thieves stole syrup from barrels stored in the warehouses rented by the Federation of Maple Syrup Producers.

Approximately 2,700 tonnes of maple syrup from a strategic maple syrup reserve maintained in Quebec.
