In the summer of 1974, 16 year old Colleen MacMillen left her home in Lac La Hache, BC to hitchhike a short distance to her friends house. Colleen never made it to her friends house that day, and her body was found about a month later off a logging road 46 km south of where she was last seen.  Her case was not originally included in the Highway Murders investigation or Project E-PANA, however after broadening the scope of the investigation in 2006 to include areas of Highway 97 and Highway 5, she became one of the 18 official British Columbia Highway of Tears Victims.   If you have any information regarding these cases, you are encouraged to call the Project E-Pana tip line at 1-877-543-4822 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
