The wilderness is necessary preparation for the promised land

Deuteronomy 8:2-3

1, You see more clearly how deep your bondage truly was from the wilderness side.

slavery- submission to a dominating influence

How to identify slavery
1. Primary motivation is fear
2. Primary evaluation is how you did your job (performance)
3. Primary loyalty is to the system
4. Primary effect is restraint

If you never see your bondage you will never be free of it, but if you see it your journey to be free has begun!
