Teri Rizvi is the executive director of strategic communications for the University of Dayton, where she also directs the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop, believed to be the only workshop in the nation devoted to humor and human interest writing. In 2021, she published her debut book, One Heart with Courage: Essays and Stories (Braughler Books) and co-edited a humor book, Sisters! Bonded by Love and Laughter. All the proceeds of One Heart with Courage will benefit the Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop Endowment Fund that keeps the workshop affordable for participants.
