Crash Landing on You Part 1

This week on Please Pause with Mike and Ham, it's Part 1 of our two-part season finale where we talk about one of Netflix's most popular shows in the Philippines, Crash Landing on You! We brought in friend of the podcast and two-time guest Adrian Sumalde to help us navigate through the heart-fluttering moments of the show. Listen as he plays some Crash Landing on You music on the piano! He also gives a K-Drama crash course for the clueless, namely us. Mike then shares a dose of Korean history to put the show in better context, not that anyone needed nor appreciated it, especially Ham. We then compare the show against our romantic series template and talk about how it managed to stay compelling despite all its familiar elements. Spoiler alert!
