Hundreds of thousands of Twitter users have fled the platform since Elon Musk took over last week. They’re swapping tweets for toots, on Twitter alternative, Mastodon. 


Mastodon is decentralised, meaning it's not run by one big corporation or CEO, but a bunch of servers operated by thousands of people.
