Political historian Professor Jenny Hocking has won a decade-long fight to access hundreds of letters between the Crown and former governor-general, Sir John Kerr, before the dismissal of the Whitlam government.
This morning, the letters were revealed to the Australian public after the High court ruled they were public records.
