The results of the first tracking survey from the Resolve Political Monitor has found measures from the federal budget were generally well received, and didn’t have any impact on the government’s electoral chances.
It has also found Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s rhetoric on the pandemic and keeping the borders shut is working for him. Closed borders are very popular, while a lot of Australians are not keen on being vaccinated against COVID-19.
