Floods in Victoria have swamped or cut off almost 35,000 homes, resulting in deaths and people going missing. 


Towns like Echuca, Mooroopna, Nagambie, Rochester and Shepparton have been inundated.


Sixty alerts have been issued and the state has seen some of the biggest evacuation efforts in its history.
