This year journalists at The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age won 50 awards for their journalism, uncovered corruption, saw Crown unfit to hold a casino licence in NSW, exposed the rise of right-wing extremism in Australia and resulted in an investigation into cowboy cosmetic surgeon Daniel Lanzer.

Our journalism made The Sydney Morning Herald the most read masthead in the country and The Age the second most read. The Age is the most read publication in Melbourne.
