The fight over the Ginsberg seat on the Supreme Court is really only just beginning. More than a simple “Should Trump be allowed to or not?” fight, this conflict crosses a number of issues, many of which have been building for years.

A recent New Yorker article suggested that were the Democrats to win both the Senate and the White House, that four major changes are at hand. History, however, suggests that most of the changes are going to happen anyway.

Why?

Because the first one coming to the plate was originally passed with all but three GOP votes.
