Maxine's Mistake?

In the middle of one of the most divisive trials in modern American legal history, politicians seemed to be utterly incapable of understanding the basic concept of blind justice or their own Constitutional responsibilities. The fact that a trial Judge had to say that very thing – from the bench – should be shocking to people.

It’s not, but it should be.

It raises some questions though. Given that so few politicians and/or elected “officials” either don’t know or don’t care about the very concept of justice, one has to wonder what else it is that they do not know and/or care about when it comes to the ideals of the country?
