This episode the team kicks off their series in understanding the game theory behind X-Wing. This week for the series inauguration, Tanner wanted to discuss a little bit about Chess Strategy and how it can apply to X-Wing, in particular how each ship and upgrade can be associated with a piece in Chess. Understanding what makes your ship inside of your list so special will help bring you closer to winning games as well as help you to teach new players about mastering the game.

This series will consist of discussing List Building, Zero Turn Strategy including obstacle and objective placement, Maneuvering and Preparation for Attack, Initial Engagement, and sustaining your health to the end game.
