Anahila talks to Mel Brown, Violet Slade and Rachel Ikurere from Smiths Ave Community Centre. Mel is using her electrical, building and plumbing skills to upgrade the facilities. Rachel works on strategy for Smith's Ave and introducing new programmes to empower the community. Violet works at the community house next door as a counsellor. Plans to have a free help line are in the works and Smiths Ave is looking for support to fund this project.
