Arlene Byrd Shorter is currently employed as an Assistant Court Investigator by Tarrant County Probate Court #2.  She conducts guardianship investigations and she has worked in this capacity since February 1999.  She received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Arlene was a founding member of the local Alzheimer’s Association North Central Texas Chapter.
