On the tenth installment of the Pop Goes The Classics series looking at the Disney animated features, Steve Riddle, Mirandia Berthold & Andy Atherton look at 1953’s Peter Pan. They discuss the many aspects of the films including: the theme of not wanting to grow up; Tinkerbell’s place amongst the iconic Disney characters; the (somewhat underrated) soundtrack of the film; the complexities of Captain Hook; the somewhat controversial portrayal and animation of the Indians and mermaids; and the persistence of the crocodile.
