Because of George Floyd being held down with the policeman's knee on his neck and him repeatedly telling the officer that he couldn't breathe, he eventually passed away. Because of the officer's actions there are many demonstrations, even in Detroit. This has Colin Kaepernick offering to help pay legal fees of the protestors after their actions led to the policeman's arrest. The other 3 officers who stood by and watched are still free.
Also, there is this racist man on FB Sean Baker Sr. who said watching George Floyd's murder was glorious to watch.
