Most people of color have a greater burden of chronic health conditions. African American and Native Americans get high blood pressure at younger ages and under less coontrol which causes greater harm to their organs. Puerto Ricans have higher rates of asthma and Black boys are three times likely to die of asthma as their white counterparts. Only 1 in 5 African Americans or 1 in 6 Hispanics have a job where they can work from home.
People of color are more likely to live in densely populated areas and in multi-populated areas and in multi-generated housing, which makes them more susceptible to the virus.
We are being asked to wash our hands repeatedly but 3% of the Navado population nation don't have running water. People of color that get the virus, have more complications from it.
