The show then moves to a World Series discussion. Mike depresses George, making him realize the Indians curse. This leads to a debate on what led to the Cubs historic World Series win what the future could hold for the two franchises. Mike even rants about the hypocrisy of the AL Cy Young voting. Was Kate Upton right?

After baseball is finally put to bed, the Howitzer and Buzz-saw shift into the meat of this particular show, the NFL. Are the Cowboys truly the best team in football? Is Ezekiel Elliott, not only Dallas' MVP, but also the current NFL MVP? Is there any way Tony Romo can get his starting job back? George is forced to acknowledge Mike was ahead of the curve yet again.

Besides Dallas, who are the remaining NFC contenders? Have the Steelers turned things around or they being helped by lesser opponents and a weak division? Can Green Bay save their season? Which AFC team is the biggest threat to New England? Is it the Raiders or has another rival emerged to be better?
